The biggest surprise from the reading was when it stated
“Studies have shown that women are more likely than men to reinvest profits in
the household and to support others in their borrowing group.” One part of the
reading that was confusing to me was the section of adopts a profit-oriented
approach in order to access commercial capital. I felt this section was out of
place with the article and the reading. If I were able to ask the author two
questions, I would ask him why he chooses India to start his business? How
often did people make the payments on time and if they did not pay in a reasonable
time span, what would happen? I would ask these questions because they are
intriguing while reading the article. I found the article to be informative so
I did not find anything wrong with what the said.
