The biggest surprise from the reading was
performing due diligence. This evaluation is critical for an entrepreneur to
consider doing an acquisition. Performing due diligence is very specific and
analytical to do. One part of the reading that was confusing was how to examine
the various methods used to valuate a business. If I were to ask the author two
question I would ask him, what is a reasonable timespan to pay off a business
venture? And how does an entrepreneur analyze the future trends of the
business? I would ask these questions because they are fundamental in order to
project the business. I did not find anything wrong with what the author said.
