For this interview, I did not have an interviewing strategy. I wanted the complete truth from the people I was interviewing so I kept my questions very short and to the point. For some of the people I interviewed, I asked more questions than others. Some of the questions I decided to ask were: would you buy this product? Do you think this product is a good idea? What was your reaction or any thoughts on the product? I decided to ask people from my surroundings, they were complete strangers like the other interviews I have done in the past.
I was very surprised at the positive feedback I got from the people I was interviewing. I learned that you do not know what people are thinking or are going to say unless you put yourself out there. Not everything is going to be the way you want it but it is part of the experience. For now, I do not expect to change anything as an outcome of these interviews. I think my idea or business concept is strong and it is something I believe people are going to be interested in.
Hi Daniela, thank you for sharing your insight on the interview process. I definitely liked how you got straight to the point. I think that would have been something that could have improved the way I interview others. We both interviewed students and asked similar questions. I may have just had a few extra questions. I think your idea sounds good. I was not entirely aware of all the components but you are off to a good start and I am sure that you will be successful if you were to generate this idea into something more tangible.

Hi Daniela! I enjoyed reading about your insight on the interviewing process, I find it especially interesting that you did not have a set strategy for this set of interviews. The interviews themselves seemed very relaxed and everyone seemed very willing to talk to you. Even if they seemed unsure on what they were doing you encouraged them to just answer your question which definitely helped them be more comfortable with the situation. Keep up the good work!!
ReplyDeleteHello Daniela! I think that we sort of learned the same thing about interviewing people, they are actually willing to be recorded if they think that their opinion is going to be heard, which really made the whole interview process easier for us! I would say that you should go check out my last set of interviews but I forgot to do them (oops)! Good luck the rest of the semester!
ReplyDeleteI think you did a great job! the questions were straight forward and i enjoyed your idea
ReplyDeleteHi Daniela,
ReplyDeleteI think that you did a great job interviewing people. I think that your strategy was very interesting and it seemed like your customers were very engaged in the interviews. I think we asked some similar questions since we targeted the same kind of people. Here is a link to my blog. http://entgabiefleischer.blogspot.com/2016/02/interviewing-customers-no-3.html
