The opportunity that you are about to see occurred to me while trying to find a parking spot at the mall. I began to think that everyone with a car or even as a passenger could relate to this. Wouldn’t it be cool if parking spaces had green lights that lit up when the spot was open and red lights that lit up when the spot was occupied? This would solve problems with small cars, smart cars and motorcycles that people do not see and get frustrated when they realize they cannot park there. Everyone that has been late or in a rush can testify that is it really frustrating thinking you found a spot and then seeing that it is occupied. This solution would save people time because it is easier to look for a green light and reassure yourself that the parking spot is free than to have to check and see if it is open or not. This solution was brought to you by the business Green Means Go.
ReplyDeleteI agree that finding parking can be fairly annoying at times. I would not of thought to use a light to help show an empty spot. It does seem like installing all of those might be somewhat expensive. So mentioning how you would deal with cost could be a good idea. If you want to check out my pitch (it's about providing a better wireless connection on campus), I'll link it down below.

Wow this actually makes alot of sense and would be a great idea
ReplyDeleteVery nice idea, but I agree with Matthew about the cost aspect.
ReplyDeleteHowever, I think this idea is still very valid. There must be a way of constructing some sort of indicator that needs no electricity.
